This whetstone is perfect for reviving dull or blunting blades and features a 1000 grit side and a finer 6000 grit side. Start with the coarse 1000 grit side before moving on to the fine 6000 grit side. For regular maintenance sharpening, use the high grit 6000 side only. This whetstone is suitable for sharpening most types of kitchen knives, pocket knives, straight razors, household tools, and chisels.
